Combines senior domain expertise and solution leadership to define technical solutions, own delivery outcomes, and lead cross-functional teams through design, deployment, validation, and scale in collaboration with customer executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for assigned customer engagements, from problem definition through production deployment and scale.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert, understanding customer operations, equipment, processes, constraints, and business objectives.
  • Identify and quantify high-impact business opportunities across reliability, maintenance, production performance, process optimization, throughput, yield, quality, energy efficiency, and operating economics.
  • Translate complex engineering and operational challenges into tractable AI, machine learning, optimization, and software problems with clearly defined requirements, success criteria, and business value.
  • Lead engagements through use case definition, requirements gathering, solution architecture, application configuration, validation, production deployment, user adoption, and scale-out.
  • Apply engineering and industry expertise to challenge assumptions, evaluate approaches, interpret results, and ensure alignment with fundamentals and realities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, industry experts) and drive alignment around outcomes.
  • Work with customer teams to validate requirements, solution performance, workflows, and business impact.
  • Guide interpretation and use of industrial data (signals, attributes, states, maintenance history, production, alarms, quality, etc.).
  • Maintain accountability for solution quality, business value, risks, delivery progress, adoption, and executive communication.
  • Partner with product management and engineering to identify reusable capabilities and scale solutions across assets and facilities.
  • Support sales in opportunity assessment, defining problems, approaches, value, requirements, deployment strategy, and demonstrations.
  • Develop statements of work and deployment plans with clear scope, deliverables, data needs, risks, timelines, and resources.
