Field Operations Specialist to patrol and assist customers at AirGarage parking locations in Charlottesville, operating on-site as part of AirGarage's field team, with duties including payment verification, citations, and customer guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol: Regularly walk assigned lot(s) or garage(s) to check on parked vehicles.
  • Multi-location coverage: Provide coverage across multiple locations within assigned area; valid driver’s license required.
  • Scan & verify: Use Space Force app to scan license plates and verify active payment.
  • Citation management: Issue citations to vehicles that haven’t paid and leave notices; immobilize (boot) in some markets.
  • Customer guidance: Help customers understand how to pay and use the app.
  • Light cleanup (where applicable): Occasional trash pickup.
  • Vendor coordination (where applicable): Coordinate with outside vendors for maintenance needs.
  • Signage assistance (where applicable): Help hang or move signage at ground level.
  • Flagging (where applicable): Direct traffic into the lot during events and assist customers with questions or pricing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, security, or parking operations is a plus but not required (training provided).
  • Physical ability to be on feet for several hours in outdoor parking environment.
  • Own a modern smartphone with reliable data plan to operate enforcement software (Space Force).
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned locations.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently without on-site supervision.
  • Professional attitude when engaging with customers and stakeholders.
  • Legal: 18+ years of age and authorized to work in the USA.
