About the role

Chief of Staff to the SVP of Production at Anduril, acting as a force multiplier to increase executive leverage, build operating structure, ensure decision clarity, and drive cross-functional execution in a fast-growing defense technology organization.

Responsibilities

  • Context Management: Maintain continuity across active threads, surface only what requires the SVP's direct engagement.
  • Operating Structure: Design and drive the operating cadence for the Production organization (leadership meetings, QBRs, strategic planning, internal reviews, cross-functional touchpoints).
  • Executive Filtering: Determine where the SVP must engage, adjudicate, or delegate to directs; improve escalation quality.
  • Executive Extension: Represent the SVP's viewpoint in internal forums and leadership discussions with deep internalization of standards and priorities.
  • Communications & Content: Own communications from Production leadership, all-hands content, email updates, and departmental rollouts; create presentations for QBRs and meetings.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead cross-functional initiatives from scoping to execution.
  • External Engagement & Events: Plan VIP, customer, investor engagements, department summits, and all-hands events; manage logistics and content.
  • Organizational Development: Help leaders escalate smarter and own outcomes; mature organization from reactive to operational.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic operations, business leadership, management consulting, or directly supporting senior executives in high-growth, complex environments.
  • Demonstrated success in a Chief of Staff or similar executive leverage role with impact on organizational operation.
  • Technical or operational experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, advanced technology, or hardware-intensive industries.
  • Ability to absorb executive context rapidly and represent senior leadership's intent to the organization.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills; able to distill ambiguity into clear recommendations in writing, presentations, and live discussions.
  • Track record building operating structures around fast-moving leaders with scalable systems and accountability.
  • Self-driven, autonomous, proactive in ambiguous environments, capable of anticipating gaps and driving results without close oversight.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
