About the role

Pre-sales technical partner role focused on building relationships with GSIs/RSIs and cloud partners (AWS and GCP), accelerating indirect revenue, enabling partner AI practices, and guiding go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic technical partnership: Act as a technical thought partner to the GTM partnerships team. Embed with GSI and cloud partner technical teams to enable their AI practices, support troubleshooting, and evangelize Anthropic in their developer communities; serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Joint solution development: Identify high-value, industry-specific GenAI applications, develop joint solutions, and codify reference architectures and best practices to speed deployment.
  • Customer deal support: Unblock strategic customer deals where partners are the primary delivery vehicle, providing deep technical expertise and solution architecture guidance.
  • Partner ecosystem and events: Represent Anthropic at partner events (GSI customer workshops, AWS summits, industry conferences); lead or support partner-specific developer events, hackathons, and technical enablement sessions.
  • Product feedback: Gather and validate feedback on Anthropic's products and offerings related to partner use cases and deployment patterns; relay to product teams to inform roadmap and strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical customer-facing or partner-facing roles (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Partner Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager)
  • Track record of partnering with GSIs and/or cloud providers to design and deliver solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders (including C-suite)
  • Strong presentation and technical communication skills
  • Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and enterprise integrations
  • Familiarity with common LLM frameworks/tools or background in ML/DS
  • Enthusiasm for cross-organizational collaboration and balancing priorities
  • Love of teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed
  • Interest in safe, beneficial use of technology and safe AI systems
