About the role

Senior software engineer responsible for cradle-to-grave, distributed mission software supporting autonomous robotics into live operations and fleet management, integrating with Lattice OS and mission payloads.

Responsibilities

  • - Own cradle-to-grave development of resilient, distributed mission software
  • - Develop messaging, orchestration, and networking backbone for coordinating fleets of vehicles
  • - Build services that integrate with Lattice OS and manage mission payloads and effects
  • - Collaborate with hardware, systems, and program management to deploy software into operational use
  • - Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments

Qualifications

  • - BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
  • - 6+ years of production-grade C++, Rust or equivalent in a Linux environment
  • - Experience building low-latency, high-performance software
  • - Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • - Experience with Git & GitHub
  • - Experience taking software from initial development through fielded deployment with cross-team collaboration
  • - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • - Track record of high ownership and bias for action
