About the role

In-home or clinic-based one-on-one ABA therapy for a child, focusing on life skills through play, with guidance from a BCBA mentor.

Responsibilities

  • Being a Play Partner: using a child’s favorite toys or games to help them learn to communicate and socialize.
  • Building Independence: helping a child master daily routines that make a big difference for their family.
  • Cheering Progress: keeping track of how they’re doing to celebrate milestones.
  • Learning Together: receiving guidance from a BCBA mentor.

Qualifications

  • 40-hour RBT training course (preferred)
  • High school diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children (especially those with special needs)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable being active (sitting, kneeling, and playing on the floor)
