About the role

Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, focusing on skill development, communication, and independence for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
  • Collect and record accurate session data
  • Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals
  • Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education

Qualifications

  • Completion of the 40-hour RBT training course (required)
  • current RBT Certification (preferred)
  • Previous in-home experience working with children or individuals with special needs (required)
  • Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
  • Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
  • A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
