Software Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure and Observability) at Nuro, focusing on infrastructure-as-code, deployment to Kubernetes, automation, and observability to monitor production systems and improve reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align on customer needs.
  • Build high-quality and scalable solutions for infrastructure-as-code and application deployment to Kubernetes clusters.
  • Build automation to improve developer experience, infrastructure reliability, and security.
  • Create observability solutions to monitor production systems, track health status, and improve system performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Software development skills, preferably in Python or Go.
  • Experience with developing in a public cloud environment.
  • Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with observability tools.
  • Experience with building, scaling, and maintaining production systems.
