About the role

Lead the external scientific partnerships for GoGoGrandparent's longitudinal aging cohort, identifying researchers, developing collaborations, and shaping the platform to enable external研究 use and funded studies.

Responsibilities

  • - Build the scientific partnership pipeline
  • - Identify academic investigators, research programs, translational research centers, and industry scientists who can benefit from GoGo's longitudinal older-adult population
  • - Develop relationships with investigators across aging biology, immunology, oncology, neurology, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, geroscience, and related fields
  • - Understand researchers' interests, cohorts, funding, and capabilities
  • - Translate conversations into concrete study concepts and collaboration proposals
  • - Determine contributions from GoGo and partners; assess feasibility and merit with internal scientists
  • - Help investigators identify funding mechanisms (NIH, foundations, sponsored research, industry)
  • - Develop collaboration proposals, concept notes, research plans, and supporting materials
  • - Shape GoGo's research platform by advising on biospecimen collection, data capture, phenotyping, and cohort infrastructure
  • - Identify gaps and establish standards for feasibility, quality, data access, publication, and IP
  • - Represent GoGo externally by attending conferences, presenting the platform, and developing communications
  • - Maintain a structured pipeline from initial conversation through funded study
  • - Launch externally driven research studies and establish repeatable partnership models
  • - Develop a scientific roadmap for the cohort based on real research questions

Qualifications

  • PhD, MD, or equivalent advanced scientific training in immunology, biology, aging/geroscience, epidemiology, translational medicine, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in academic research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, translational medicine, scientific partnerships, or related field
  • Ability to understand and discuss primary scientific literature and research questions at a sophisticated level
  • Experience working with academic investigators and/or research institutions
  • Strong understanding of how academic research is funded and how university–industry collaborations are structured
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, early-stage environment
