About the role

Canvass Manager for Platteville, WI, leading paid canvasser operations in the region, with health and safety protocols, recruitment, training, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Train canvassers, launch canvass events, and supervise a team of canvassers in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Serve on the front lines of voter outreach including regular door-to-door canvassing in local and statewide campaigns.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and timely regional data entry.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Recruit, schedule, and confirm canvassers.
  • Assist with delivering training programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 cycles of paid field campaign or other door-to-door canvassing experience
  • Commitment to building power in the progressive movement
  • Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN/LAN preferred
  • Basic computer literacy; strong Excel knowledge a plus; access to reliable portable computer
  • Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills
  • Bilingual experience is a plus but not required
