About the role

Operations Engineer to implement tools and processes for Environmental Health and Safety programs at SpaceX Terafab, a large-scale semiconductor fabrication facility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dashboards and tools for the Terafab environmental health and safety department
  • Analyze data related to environmental monitoring, incident reports, and safety performance to identify opportunities for data visualization
  • Collaborate with teams across all sites to solicit feedback on developed systems
  • Provide training sessions and educational materials to employees on awareness of proper usage of safety applications and visualization platforms
  • Collaborate with application software teams and/or contractors to create application improvements and manage software development projects to completion
  • Produce specific metric reports upon request
  • Identify operational challenges within the organization, lead problem formulation, determine root cause, and implement creative and effective solutions
  • Communicate effectively with different levels of the organization, including layout reviews with engineers and presentations with leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, environmental health and safety project management, and/or environmental health and safety coordination
