About the role
Lead Product Owner responsible for Harvey's finance systems portfolio (NetSuite ERP, Zip, Ramp, Brex, Metronome) and related workflows. Owns roadmaps, discovery, design, and execution across finance processes, partnering with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Ops, Procurement, Tax, and Business Technology.
Responsibilities
- Act as the product owner for one or more core finance business process areas (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and/or record-to-report) and the systems that serve them; run discovery, define target-state design, own the roadmap, and measure value and accuracy.
- Lead complex problems with no established pattern, including international expansion, multi-entity/multi-currency scenarios, and new product offerings requiring coordinated pricing, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Develop and maintain an architecture strategy for the finance applications ecosystem; define system boundaries, data flows, and short/mid/long-term needs; collaborate with Workday and Salesforce teams for integrations.
- Identify and eliminate manual work by implementing automated workflows and integrations; evaluate new functionalities for fit.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize NetSuite and other financial system workflows (Zip, Ramp, Brex, Metronome) and data flows feeding the ledger; oversee upstream data sources for revenue reporting.
- Identify, test, and implement AI and automation opportunities with measurable impact on time savings and reduced manual effort.
- Own quality across applications, establish lightweight SDLC practices, and mentor peers on design questions across Finance and Business Technology.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a finance systems professional, including 5+ years of direct NetSuite experience with complex multi-entity and multi-currency support.
- Product owner or product manager experience in at least one core finance process area (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and/or record-to-report) with roadmap ownership and stakeholder discovery experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and tech organizations; mentoring, setting technical standards, and being a trusted escalation point.
- Proven ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes process problems with autonomy and judicious collaboration (e.g., international expansion, multi-entity complexity, pricing/billing/revenue recognition design).
- Deep understanding of SaaS finance applications and architecture; familiarity with automation and AI impacts.
- Experience implementing best practices around change management, regression/UAT planning, segregation of duties, and regulatory requirements while increasing efficiency.
