About the role
Lead Product Owner responsible for Harvey's finance systems and workflows, including NetSuite, Zip, Ramp, Brex, and Metronome, to support global scaling and provide advisory and hands-on solution design across Finance and Business Technology.
Responsibilities
- Act as the product owner for core finance business process areas (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and/or record-to-report) and the supporting systems; run discovery, define target-state design, own the roadmap, and measure value and accuracy.
- Lead the hardest problems in the domain, including international expansion, multi-entity/multi-currency complexity, and new product offerings requiring integrated pricing, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Develop and maintain a holistic architecture strategy for the finance applications ecosystem; define system boundaries and data flows; collaborate with adjacent enterprise system owners (e.g., Workday, Salesforce) on integrations.
- Identify manual work to automate through configuration, workflows, and integrations; evaluate new functionality for fit.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize NetSuite and related spend/revenue workflows (Zip, Ramp, Brex, Metronome); understand data flows and upstream data sources for revenue reporting.
- Identify, test, and implement AI and automation opportunities with measurable impact on time savings and reduction of manual output.
- Ensure quality across applications with lightweight SDLC, establish best practices, and mentor/guide peers on complex design questions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on finance systems experience, including 5+ years of direct NetSuite experience with complex global/multi-entity/multi-currency support.
- Product owner or product manager experience in at least one core finance process area (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and/or record-to-report) with roadmap ownership and cross-functional discovery and design.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and technology; mentoring or setting technical standards is a plus.
- Ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems autonomously while knowing when to involve others (e.g., international expansion, multi-entity/currency, new product offerings).
- Deep understanding of SaaS finance applications and architecture, including automation and AI trends.
- Experience with change management, regression/UAT planning, segregation of duties, regulatory requirements, and driving efficiencies.
