About the role

Trust & Safety Product Manager responsible for the product and technical delivery of compliance and safety initiatives across EverAI’s platforms, including in-house moderation (EverGuard), third-party safety partnerships, dashboards, and incident response. Works with CTO, Legal & Safety Lead, Compliance, Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Support to identify risks and build safeguards while navigating sensitive NSFW content and uncensored AI outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Safety & legal product strategy and delivery. Translate safety policies, legal requirements (e.g., EU AI Act), incident findings, and user feedback into product requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering work; drive initiatives from problem definition through launch and ongoing improvement.
  • Internally developed moderation technologies. Own product side of improvements to in-house moderation systems, including EverGuard; partner with Engineering and AI/ML on detection capabilities, moderation rules and thresholds, interventions across user inputs and AI outputs.
  • Third-party safety partnerships and integrations. Lead lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships from needs evaluation to implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing performance management.
  • Safety dashboards, monitoring, and quality assurance. Establish dashboards and recurring QA to proactively identify issues and ensure T&S measures perform as intended.
  • Red teaming and adversarial testing. Own testing of moderation systems and safeguards for misuse and edge cases; manage remediation and retesting.
  • Trust and safety reviews for new features. Run dedicated T&S review for new features and material changes, engaging early in product design.
  • Incident follow-through and continuous improvement. Coordinate product and engineering response to significant safety issues with incident management, policy, and user support.

Qualifications

  • Data-driven product decisions aligned with legal/ethical standards; experience with metrics, A/B testing, and dashboards.
  • Content moderation and AI guardrails; experience with automation, human review, and user reporting.
  • Legal/safety work experience; ability to translate compliance into consumer-facing product.
  • Collaborative mindset and English fluency; cross-functional collaboration with engineering, legal, operations, and customer support.
  • AI fluency; comfortable leveraging AI tools and exploring new tools without waiting for directed projects.
  • Point person for third-party partnerships; autonomous in testing and discussions with third-party tools and integrations affecting compliance and safety posture.
  • Ownership mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and delivering results rather than following a fixed process.
  • Comfortable with uncensored models and content in the product category.
