About the role

Staff Engineer to set technical direction and lead delivery of MongoDB's Application Modernization Platform (AMP). Focus on building shared foundations, integrating tools and services, and enabling product teams and external partners to adopt AMP capabilities with secure, observable, and scalable deployments. Hybrid role based in Gurugram.

Responsibilities

  • Define clear boundaries between platform, product teams, and external partners; make deliberate build-versus-integrate decisions; contribute foundational code.
  • Architect and lead delivery of AMP platform components and integrations that enable product teams to adopt AMP capabilities with reduced engineering effort.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in software engineering and production operations with leadership in technical strategies and scalable architectures
