About the role

MongoDB Technical Services Engineers advise customers and solve complex MongoDB problems across the ecosystem (server, drivers, cloud, Atlas, Cloud Manager). Hybrid role based in Bengaluru. Responsible for architecture, performance, recovery, security questions, and contributing to internal tools and customer advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex challenges for large customers, including architecture, performance, recovery, and security questions.
  • Be an expert resource on best practices for running MongoDB at scale.
  • Advocate for customers' needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
  • Contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of: systems administration, troubleshooting systems, scalable and highly available distributed systems, network administration, application architecture, data architecture and design, database architecture and administration, performance tuning and benchmarking, previous experience in technical support
  • B.Tech / B.S. or equivalent work experience
