About the role

MongoDB seeks a Technical Services Engineer II based in Gurugram for a hybrid role to advise customers, solve complex MongoDB problems, and contribute to internal tools and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex MongoDB problems for largest customers, including architecture, performance, recovery, security questions.
  • Serve as an expert on best practices for running MongoDB at scale.
  • Advocate for customers’ needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
  • Contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of systems administration, troubleshooting, distributed systems, network administration, application architecture, data architecture and design, database architecture and administration
  • Experience in performance tuning and benchmarking
  • Previous experience in technical support
  • B.Tech / B.S. or equivalent work experience
