About the role

Field Operations Specialist in Austin, TX. Part-time, hourly W-2 role with on-site work at multiple parking locations, focusing on patrolling, payment verification, and customer assistance to ensure smooth operations and enforce paid parking.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol: Regularly walk assigned lot(s)/garage(s) on foot to check on parked vehicles.
  • Multi-location coverage: Provide coverage across multiple locations within assigned area; requires valid driver’s license.
  • Scan & verify: Use Space Force app to scan license plates and verify active payment.
  • Citation management: Issue citations to unpaid vehicles; leave notices; in some markets, immobilize repeat violators.
  • Customer guidance: Help customers understand how to pay and use the app.
  • Light cleanup (optional at some locations): Occasional trash pickup.
  • Vendor coordination (optional at some locations): Coordination with outside vendors for maintenance needs.
  • Signage assistance (optional at some locations): Help hang or move signage at ground level.
  • Flagging (optional at some locations): Direct traffic during events and assist customers with questions/pricing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, security, or parking operations is a plus but not required (training provided).
  • Ability to be on feet for several hours in outdoor parking environment.
  • Own a modern smartphone with reliable data plan to operate enforcement software (Space Force).
  • Reliable transportation to/from assigned locations.
  • Strong time-management and ability to work independently without on-site supervision.
  • Professional attitude when engaging with customers and property stakeholders.
  • 18+ years of age and authorized to work in the USA.
