About the role

Product Security team at Meta seeks an experienced Security Engineering Manager to support multiple web-security and mobile OS-security teams building and deploying scalable SAST/DAST/agent-based tooling across multi-product stacks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the security engineering teams that build scalable tools to secure our web stack and mobile OS apps
  • Influence and align the organization’s vision and strategy, while engaging the team to develop and deliver specific, multi-year roadmaps, programs, and projects
  • Ensure prioritization, resourcing, and timely delivery of project work within a changing business environment
  • Define operational metrics, key performance indicators, and service level objectives to assure the team achieves deliverables
  • Hire, grow, and build a high performing team capable of achieving the team’s mission
  • Collaborate and influence a wide range of cross-functional teams to develop scalable and flexible engineering solutions designed to mitigate security risks
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional partners to enable the team’s ability to effectively and efficiently execute on project work
  • Be a broad technical and process subject matter expert across the Product Security domain

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience in Security
  • 10+ years of work experience in security or software engineering and 5+ years of people management experience
  • Experience recruiting, building, and leading technical teams and managing managers, including performance management
  • Experience in driving large cross-company engineering initiatives, and communicating and influencing across functions to drive solutions
  • Experience leading and managing complex multi-year cross-functional programs
  • Experience developing and delivering information on program status for leadership
