About the role

Senior analytical leader and technical authority for Analytics within Meta's Data Center Infrastructure, responsible for shaping analytics strategy, delivering high-impact data science initiatives across Data Center Infrastructure, and communicating technical concepts and business impact to technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Data Center Infrastructure Data Science in high-stakes technical and engineering discussions with cross-functional partners, Infra leadership, and other Meta organizations.
  • Translate complex technical work into clear, compelling narratives showing business impact of Data Science initiatives to technical and executive audiences.
  • Serve as the foremost analytical authority and individual contributor for Data Science within Data Center Infrastructure, setting technical direction, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead the development and execution of analytical solutions for high-priority Data Center Infrastructure initiatives that cross the Data Center boundaries into broader Meta.
  • Act as a technical thought leader, driving innovation in Data Science and analytics tailored to Data Center and Infrastructure at hyperscale.
  • Provide deep technical mentorship to other Data Scientists and Data Engineers, raising the organization’s technical bar.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to drive the full lifecycle of data science solutions, from ideation to deployment and measurement at scale.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a Data Science, Applied Science, or Analytical Engineering role with a proven track record of leading large, complex technical programs
  • Ability to function as a technical storyteller, articulating highly technical concepts and their business implications to technical, business, and executive audiences
  • Experience in Data Center, Infrastructure, Cloud, or hyperscaler domains (desirable)
  • Proven experience driving technical strategy and thought leadership in fast-paced, high-growth environments, especially with AI paradigms
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
