About the role

Contract Manufacturing Manager responsible for leading the relationship with CM/ODM partners, negotiating commercial terms, and coordinating cross-functional teams to enable efficient and innovative supply chain for AR/VR hardware at Meta.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, sustain and grow a meaningful relationship with partners to support product and advanced technology development
  • Lead new product RFP/RFQ and business award process, including supplier selection criteria and evaluating suppliers
  • Negotiate commercial agreements covering pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty and service terms (including MVA, NRE & CapEx)
  • Manage budget process for Opex and CapEx with cross-functional teams and management
  • Lead cost optimization opportunities with partner and internal teams
  • Develop and implement supplier performance measurement systems and conduct supplier reviews with action plans
  • Manage escalations from teams to drive short-term and long-term improvements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience with primary focus on Contract Manufacturing in high-volume hardware manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience managing Asia supply base
  • Experience building Supplier Relationships
  • Proven background in supplier evaluation/selection, predictive cost models, contract negotiations and supply base management
  • Experience communicating with all levels of management
  • Experience operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in and managing high volume, consumer electronic product launches and delivery
  • BS degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., supply chain, industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel (10-15% of time) and open to work with different time zones
