About the role

Role focused on creating compelling video and photography to tell Matic’s story, with room to shape creative voice and make an immediate impact.

Shoot and edit social-first video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid social, and other digital channels.
Turn creative briefs, references, rough ideas, and existing footage into polished finished content.
Capture clean, professional product, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes photography.
Own projects from capture through final edit, including lighting, audio, color, sound design, motion graphics, and typography.
Create multiple variations and iterations for paid media testing and rapid learning.
Use After Effects to add thoughtful motion, typography, graphics, and visual treatments.
Spot ideas in existing footage or cultural moments and bring them to life quickly—without waiting for approvals.
Contribute creative ideas. We want a partner who brings references, pitches angles, and makes the work better.

Strong editing fundamentals: excellent short-form, vertical video editing with strong pacing and visual storytelling.
2+ years of hands-on experience creating and editing video content (portfolio-based).
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Motion graphics experience: animate type, create graphics, and compose visual treatments in After Effects.
Shooting and composition skills: clean product, lifestyle, and BTS photography with strong framing.
Comfort working with and directing talent: conduct interviews, guide people on camera, and capture authentic talking heads and performance-based content.
Sound design and color correction fundamentals.
Familiarity with AI video production workflows: comfortable experimenting with AI tools for asset creation, editing assistance, and visual storytelling.
A portfolio is required: portfolio featuring social-first video and photography with descriptions of contribution.
Fast execution: move from idea to finished piece efficiently.
Collaborative mindset: receptive to feedback and able to iterate without constant direction.
