About the role

Hardware-focused internship within the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineering team, focused on developing a new testing capability for a GNC component and supporting hardware/software integration in a startup aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a new or existing test capability
  • Design, improve, and automate test setups and ground support equipment
  • Conduct analysis to support both development and testing phases
  • Engage in testing and measurement activities in the lab, either on the bench or within a clean room environment

Qualifications

  • Classwork in mechanical or aerospace engineering or applied physics
  • Basic programming skills
  • Experience with hardware/software integration, mechatronics projects, etc
  • Interest in spacecraft attitude sensors and actuators
