About the role

Internal SEO Lead responsible for global strategy and execution to rank on top of Google and AI search tools across markets, owning keyword research, site structure, content direction, and collaboration with website/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own SEO strategy and execution across all markets
  • Define site structure and on-page architecture, work with Website and Engineering teams on technical SEO
  • Lead keyword research and determine how to win in both traditional and AI-generated search results
  • Commission and write content needed to rank
  • Manage an SEO budget of €20,000–€30,000 per month
  • Collaborate with agencies when appropriate, while keeping strategy and know-how in-house
  • Scale SEO with fonio and build an internal team in the mid term

Qualifications

  • Experience building SEO at scale as a primary role with demonstrable results
  • Experience with international SEO and expanding beyond the home market
  • Fluent German and English
