About the role

Independent contractor project-based role for collecting English voice data by recording short, unscripted phone calls to help build natural voice AI.

Responsibilities

  • Record solo calls on a secure platform (no second person required); pause where the agent would respond
  • Submit basic metadata after each call
  • Follow a 6-step call flow: greeting, ID verification, describing the issue, pausing for the agent's reply, resolution, and closing
  • Use only fake names and account numbers; avoid real personal information
  • Complete 4–10 calls, each 1–2 minutes (5 minutes max) and spread across days as specified

Qualifications

  • Native English speaker, 18+
  • Can read and follow short instructions in English
  • Own an iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, or 17 Air
  • Have a quiet indoor space to record (no TV, traffic, fans, or other voices)
  • Can spread calls out: no more than 3 per day, at least 3 hours apart, at different times of day across several days
  • Comfortable improvising a natural, unscripted call that follows a 6-step flow
  • Willing to be recorded, give recorded consent, sign an NDA, and follow project guidelines
