About the role

Experienced Facilities Operations Project Manager with a strong engineering background to lead mission-critical facilities work across SpaceXSI’s Southaven and Memphis sites, owning projects from scope through handover while maintaining live operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the facilities operations project representative for the Southaven and Memphis sites, managing relationships with contractors, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of facilities operations projects, from scoping and planning through installation, commissioning, and handover into day-to-day operations.
  • Develop, plan, and execute site improvement, retrofit, and activation projects including mechanical/HVAC, electrical, compressed air, plumbing, and related campus systems.
  • Coordinate multiple vendors and trade partners, ensuring seamless communication between field teams, facilities supervisors, technicians, engineering disciplines, and technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure high-quality delivery, safety, schedule adherence, and operational readiness on a live campus.
  • Drive project progress, resolve roadblocks, and maintain multi-phase timelines with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Create and align facilities project schedules and deliverables with SpaceXSI's broader infrastructure and AI supercomputing goals through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to take work from build into operations and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Deliver regular updates using KPIs, dashboards, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform quantity take-offs, field verifications, and progress monitoring to support accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Manage change orders and identify value-engineered solutions to minimize unnecessary changes and control costs.
  • Manage vendor and contractor finances; coordinate with SpaceXSI buyers and accounts payable.
  • Lead site safety initiatives on facilities project work in line with SpaceXSI safety procedures.
  • Understand and work with mechanical and facilities equipment (e.g., chilled water systems, boilers, VFDs, pumps, PLCs, condensers, split systems, air compressors, dust collectors, backflow preventers).
  • Adapt to evolving needs and support cross-functional partners as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience managing facilities operations or infrastructure projects.
