About the role

Recruiting leader responsible for building and managing the recruiting function for Anthropic's Communications, Brand, and Marketing teams, partnering with senior leaders and operations partners, and standardizing processes and data-driven hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and retain a team of senior recruiters, with a focus on fast and timely feedback
  • Build deep trust with the leaders of Communications, Brand, and Marketing; learn needs, raise hiring risks early, and align plans with market realities
  • Run a tight operation; own headcount plans, pipeline data, and reporting, ensuring accuracy for planning
  • Use data to show search status, bottlenecks, and closure requirements
  • Collaborate with operations partners for headcount planning and priorities
  • Set a consistent search, interview, and data management process across the team and Claude workflows
  • Hire recruiters onto the team, including specialists in communications and brand hiring
  • Partner with Compensation, Finance, People Partners, and Recruiting Operations to ensure clear, fair processes

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience (strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years managing recruiters or recruiting managers
  • Experience leading an executive search function or recruiting portfolio for Communications, Brand, Corporate Affairs, or Marketing
  • Experience supporting senior executives in high-stakes, public-facing roles
  • Experience scaling a recruiting team in a fast-growing company
  • Fluency with recruiting systems and AI tools, with a track record of teaching recruiters to use them effectively
