About the role

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Systems & Analytics Specialist responsible for quality, integrity, and presentation of EHS and sustainability data, including dashboards, reporting, and privacy controls. Owns safety observation and close call program, supports compliance tracking, audits, and data privacy. Partners with Legal and data/software teams to integrate EHS data across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the data steward for EHS and sustainability data, owning the definition and source of every published metric.
  • Audit data completeness, classification consistency, and accuracy across sites; partner with site EHS teams to fix root causes of data issues.
  • Define and maintain standards for recording and classifying EHS events for comparability across campuses.
  • Own privacy controls in published data (minimum cell sizes, suppression, reporting rates, exclusion of narrative/text identifiers); collaborate on appropriate access and handling of confidential information.
  • Design, build, and maintain EHS dashboards for EHS, site leadership, and business leaders.
  • Develop leading indicators such as reporting participation, corrective action closure/aging, and management system effectiveness measures.
  • Produce recurring executive and Board-level reporting with narrative and recommendations; defend published figures and underlying causes.
  • Provide performance data and trend analysis to support management reviews.
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines; reduce reliance on manual data assembly.
  • Leverage AI-assisted analysis/tools with validation before informing decisions.
  • Own safety observation and close call program including intake, classification, routing, reporting, closure, and escalation.
  • Analyze observation data for hazard trends and leading indicators; propagate lessons learned across sites.
  • Analyze audit results for trends; track findings to closure and assess effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Respond to audit/records requests; participate in internal EHS management system audits toward lead auditor capability.
  • Support OSHA recordkeeping, environmental compliance tracking, and sustainability reporting (GHG, energy, water, waste) and maintain status of deadlines.
  • Maintain EHS system ownership for the foundry/Foundry-based in-house EHS management system development and integration with other systems.
  • Train and support end users on dashboards/tools; identify opportunities to automate processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in EHS, sustainability, or compliance-focused data/analytics role.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and injury recordkeeping requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; ability to clean, join, validate, and interpret real-world datasets.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards/reports used for decision-making.
  • Experience handling confidential/sensitive personal information appropriately.
  • Experience with AI-assisted analysis/tools and validation of outputs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain data to non-technical audiences and recommend actions.
  • Strong organizational skills and persistence to drive items to completion.
  • Ability to travel ~15% to other campuses.
  • U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
