About the role

Field Operations Deployment Manager on the Air Defense team responsible for delivering and sustaining large-scale, fixed-site counter-UAS capabilities, leading end-to-end deployments, developing repeatable playbooks, and coordinating with site security and stakeholders to integrate Anduril’s capability into existing security postures.

Responsibilities

  • Deployment planning and execution: orchestrate large-scale, persistent C-UAS installations across an expansive site footprint, leading cross-functional teams through site survey, RF and power planning, sensor and effector siting, coverage modeling, pack-out, installation, integration, test, training, and long-term sustainment.
  • Playbook-driven deployment methodology: build and own standardized playbooks, SOPs, and installation templates to enable repeatable deployments at scale; codify procedures into lightweight processes for consistent execution across sites; capture lessons learned and continuously improve the methodology.
  • Site security coordination: act as the primary interface to on-site security teams, facility management, and installation stakeholders; deconflict sensor and effector placement, coordinate access and escorts, align on rules of engagement, ensure integration with site security posture.
  • Relationship management: build trust with customers, partners, users, and teammates; communicate priorities, build rapport, and provide honest, direct communication; foster feedback and set clear expectations.
  • Mission expertise: develop deep knowledge of customer mission requirements, threats, regulatory challenges, resource constraints, rules of engagement, and defending fixed high-value sites; communicate requirements and CONOPS to engineers.
  • Product expertise: gain thorough understanding of Anduril’s Family of Systems, sensor modalities, sensor fusion, power and networking requirements, and performance forecasting across threat profiles and mission constraints.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or 4-6+ years experience in a technical field, preferably in the defense, national security, or aerospace domain
  • Highly organized creative problem-solver with proven project management skills
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale, fixed-site installations or infrastructure deployments, ideally involving integrated sensors, effectors, power, and networking
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain deployment playbooks, SOPs, and installation documentation that drive repeatable execution at scale
  • Experience coordinating with site security, physical security, or force-protection organizations and integrating capabilities into an existing security posture
  • Experienced in the creation and upkeep of documentation for new or developing processes
  • Proven experience leading tech-enabled teams of peers while building a culture of influence through relationships
  • Deep interest in national security issues and defense technologies, with a commitment to lifelong learning
  • Experience translating technical concepts into operational requirements and performance specifications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
