About the role

Head of Operations for the Ghost and Precision Engagement Systems business lines within the Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team, based in Costa Mesa, CA. Responsible for end-to-end business operations, governance, and strategic execution to enable growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of business operations and infrastructure, ensuring business development, engineering, and production teams have what they need when they need it to execute
  • Serve as the General Manager’s chief strategist to balance resource and execution risk against our massive growth plans, regularly monitoring financials to help guide us toward our profitability targets
  • Translate growth signals into demand across all operational infrastructure including staffing, real estate, test ranges, classified infrastructure, and production and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Anduril to deliver
  • Own the business line’s governance structure from business reviews to annual planning and employee onboarding to all hands, developing and evolving information pathways as the organization scales
  • Collaborate closely with division leadership to evolve the organizational structure and define and implement strong hiring, onboarding, and execution standards for key functions so we maintain a culture of “doing things differently”
  • Execute on special projects, evolve internal processes, spearhead the stand up of new functions, and lead M&A efforts as needed

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of varied experience in an operating role at a high-growth technology company, starting a venture, or in finance or consulting
  • You love solving complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a people-centric way
  • You’re both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility
  • You’re highly detail oriented and data-driven
  • You’re discerning and an incredibly fast learner
  • You’re tactical and enjoy getting into the details.
