About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Process Technician in Hudson, NH to operate and maintain vacuum and cryogenic systems for IDCA production within AIRS. The role focuses on meticulous processing, system monitoring, equipment maintenance, and rigorous documentation to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Vacuum & Cryogenic Processing: load dewars onto vacuum pumps, perform LN2 boil-off procedures, track pump cycle progress, daily gas collection and evaluation.
  • Monitor & Troubleshoot Systems: use Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA) instrumentation to monitor pump cycles, screen for irregularities, and debug to ensure process integrity.
  • Maintain Equipment & Cleanroom: perform regular maintenance on vacuum pump systems, conduct dewar leak checks, and maintain cleanliness and stocking of materials (including LN2) in lab/cleanroom environments.
  • Document Processes & Data: create and maintain IDCA documentation, including travelers and detailed data entry, following established procedures.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience with 5-10 years hands-on experience in a similar manufacturing or process environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating and troubleshooting high vacuum systems, leak checkers, and Residual Gas Analyzers (RGAs).
  • Excellent fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for precision work; proficiency with hand tools and mechanical/electrical measurement equipment; ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and rudimentary schematics.
  • Strong adherence to procedures, keen attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Infrared technical area experience is a plus.
  • U.S. Person required due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
