About the role

Senior Product Manager responsible for shaping the Payward payments platform, including shared backend and integration surfaces (hosted pages, SDKs, embedded components and direct APIs) to enable Payward’s global pay-in and payout rails.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for the Payward payments platform, covering the shared backend and integration surfaces internal clients build on (hosted pages, SDKs, embedded components and direct APIs)
  • Map requirements across internal clients and evolve the platform's vision and capabilities to support a growing set of use cases
  • Partner with engineering to turn the target vision into a sequenced, high-impact roadmap with milestones for each client team
  • Prioritize across competing client needs, make trade-offs visible, and communicate rationale for decisions
  • Shape the client experience end-to-end from first conversation to go-live to enable adoption with minimal hand-holding
  • Collaborate with banking and partnerships teams to ensure PSP/bank integrations are built once on the platform and propagate across Payward businesses
  • Incorporate compliance, risk, and legal requirements early in the roadmap to avoid launch blockers
  • Set and track platform success metrics (e.g., time to launch rails, time to go live for new clients, share of rails available, payment success rates)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a platform, API or infrastructure role with internal developers as customers
  • Working knowledge of payments (pay-ins/payouts, PSPs/acquirers, bank rails such as ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, SWIFT, local methods) and money flows between them
  • Strong technical fluency: ability to read RFCs, challenge architecture decisions, and write API specs that engineers respect
  • Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, or embeddable UI components
  • Clear, structured writing translating complex systems into actionable docs for product, compliance and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage many stakeholders with diverse priorities and build alignment without direct authority
  • Comfort using data to set goals and measure platform adoption and performance
