About the role

BDR role at RetailReady, an AI-powered supply chain compliance engine. Involves outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and building the go-to-market engine from the ground up. In-person in San Francisco with base + commission + equity.

Responsibilities

  • Source and research prospects across core markets: consumer brands, Amazon-first brands preparing for retail, and 3PL warehouses
  • Run outbound across email, LinkedIn and phone, turning cold conversations into booked meetings
  • Lead first conversations to understand prospects' retail footprint, pain, and fit for RetailReady
  • Book qualified meetings for the sales lead, join intro calls, and ensure smooth handoff
  • Nurture not-yet-ready prospects and maintain warm relationships until timing is right
  • Represent RetailReady at trade shows, industry events and in-person visits
  • Keep HubSpot updated and share market feedback to inform product and messaging

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with founders or VP of Operations
  • Coachable, organized, trackable work habits, consistent follow-up
  • Startup mindset: willing to wear multiple hats and build playbooks
  • Curiosity about supply chain and CPG industry
