About the role

Engineer responsible for platform health, governance, and reliability with hands-on Salesforce admin/development, platform monitoring, and incident management in a hybrid Paris-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Administration & Governance (Primary Focus) - manage, configure, and maintain production and sandbox environments, including access control, storage, and SSO configuration.
  • Track seasonal releases, perform impact analyses, evaluate deprecations, and ensure continuous platform compliance.
  • Lead and coordinate security audits, serving as direct technical contact for support.
  • Reliability Engineering & Production Monitoring - drive proactive monitoring to detect, anticipate, and resolve incidents before impacting users.
  • Contribute technical expertise during incident resolution and participate in postmortem-to-prevention to reduce downtime.
  • Turn incident learnings into engineering standards (timeouts, retries, idempotency, runbooks).
  • Validate system resilience through disaster recovery drills and failover tests.
  • Custom Development & Technical Adaptability - pick up development tasks during administrative workload, adhere to engineering processes.
  • Maintain and optimize release management scripts and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate code analysis, prototyping, unit testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, combining advanced administration with hands-on development.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, native SF CLI).
  • Understanding of reliability concepts: SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
  • Deep setup knowledge, security controls, profile architecture, and environment management.
  • Practical development experience with Apex, SOQL, and Flows.
  • Soft Skills & Mindset: self-driven, disciplined, proactive problem solver, versatile communicator, fluent in English and French.
