About the role

Harvey’s Legal Engineers are lawyers who apply their legal experience to demonstrate how Harvey’s AI solutions enhance day-to-day legal workflows, supporting sales training and customer education while acting as trusted advisors on legal applications of the technology.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with lawyers at existing and prospective customers to understand and address workflow challenges, and demonstrate the value of Harvey’s AI solutions.
  • Establish credibility as an expert in solving customers’ specific legal problems (e.g. researching databases, drafting and analyzing contractual provisions, analyzing briefs and filings, corporate governance, due diligence).
  • Lead product demonstrations tailored to various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, validating how Harvey adds value and showcasing relevant features.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop content tailored to lawyers’ needs and practice areas.
  • Act as the “Voice of the Customer” to help sales and product teams from a legal perspective, synthesizing feedback.
  • Tailor introductions of new solutions to customer needs.
  • Enhance Harvey’s market perception as credible and helpful for applying AI in legal work.
  • Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.
  • Travel may be required, including visits to customer and company offices.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to practice law in England & Wales with at least 3 years of experience at a top-tier UK law firm.
  • Fluent or native Arabic speaker.
  • Executive engagement skills and presence with ability to build credibility with decision makers at all levels.
  • Outstanding presentation skills for legal and executive audiences, both impromptu and formal.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals.
  • Curiosity about AI’s potential to transform the legal industry.
  • Sales or customer-facing experience (law firm business development and/or secondment) is a plus, as is experience managing law firm client matters and relationships.
