About the role

Legal Engineers translate real legal work into Harvey solutions, leading discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding across the customer lifecycle. They work in pre-sales, post-sales, or custom solutions roles to design and refine AI-driven legal workflows for law firms and corporate legal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding alongside Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
  • Engage with leading law firms and legal teams during pre-sales to understand workflows and demonstrate value of Harvey’s AI solution.
  • Build tailored legal solutions and translate feedback into product improvements and roadmap.
  • Represent LEPS/LECS capabilities during customer interactions and enablement sessions.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design bespoke no-code automate resources (agents, playbooks, tools).
  • Translate legal practice needs into actionable feedback for product and engineering; contribute to customer-facing content.

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 3+ years of practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a sophisticated corporate legal team
  • Strong understanding of law firm workflows, risks, and business priorities
  • Executive presence and relationship-building skills with legal and business stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills for live demos and workshops
  • Curiosity about AI’s potential to transform legal work with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results; curiosity for testing and optimizing customer outcomes
  • Cross-functional experience (business, ops, compliance, product), sales/customer-facing experience, and/or hands-on AI tools in legal practice is a plus
