About the role

Full-stack Software Engineer on the Enterprise Platform Technology (EPT) team building internal software for OpenAI’s go-to-market teams, focusing on web applications, integrations, and shared platform capabilities to streamline seller workflows and enable intelligent experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver full-stack web applications and integrations that support go to market workflows
  • Define platform and application boundaries that let other teams extend our go to market systems while protecting sensitive data, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Work with product and business partners to prioritize useful capabilities, including intelligent experiences informed by relevant business context.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships, on product-driven teams.
  • Experience building large-scale, full-stack software applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Make sound architecture and product decisions for connected systems, with attention to sensitive data, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate across engineering and business teams.
  • The EPT platform uses Python/FastAPI and React, but experience with those specific technologies is not required.
  • Agentic-system experience is a plus, not a requirement.
