About the role

Hands-on technical leader responsible for technical direction and implementation of critical AI systems within an early-stage supply chain moonshot project.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical direction for research prototypes and production deliverables, driving software architecture and features.
  • Develop and deliver production-grade AI enterprise software from ideation to deployment and maintenance in complex enterprise environments.
  • Build end-to-end solutions including data acquisition, data processing pipelines, and ML modeling.
  • Enhance AI reasoning by innovating on Foundation Models, internal workflows, and specialized tools.
  • Explore, apply, and innovate state-of-the-art LLM and machine learning techniques.
  • Lead and mentor technical initiatives, guiding project execution and developing team capability.
  • Ensure responsible AI development with robust safety principles, sandboxing, and traceability of self-modifications.
  • Develop user-centric experiences that inspire adoption and trust.
  • Actively implement solutions and contribute hands-on as needed.
  • Balance prototype longevity with rapid productization.

Qualifications

  • MS/PhD degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, or related quantitative field.
  • 10+ years experience in applied ML research and high-performance ML implementations.
  • 7+ years experience designing, developing, maintaining, and releasing production-grade enterprise software.
  • 4+ years experience as a technical lead or equivalent leadership role.
  • Applied research in: applying LLMs and agentic AI (RAG, knowledge graphs), model prompting, MLOps, model deployment/versioning/performance monitoring, model drift/overfitting, deep learning (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX), Python development, full-stack/enterprise data pipelines.
