About the role

Data Hall Design interns work with Revit and AutoCAD on liquid-cooled AI data halls, producing rack elevations, row layouts, cable pathways, and reusable families/templates used across sites. Work undergoes the same review gates as full-time designers and results appear in real drawing sets.

Responsibilities

  • Work in Revit and AutoCAD alongside designers on liquid-cooled AI data halls: rack elevations, row layouts, cable pathway routing, and reusable families and templates.
  • Contribute to drawing sets that go through standard review gates (as with full-time designers).
  • Reference design reuse across multiple sites to enable scalable deployment.

Qualifications

  • Current students in Architecture, architectural engineering, mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, construction management, or drafting and design technology programs (portfolio of CAD or BIM work preferred).
  • Transitioning service members and veterans with drafting, engineering, survey, or facilities backgrounds.
  • Professionals returning after a career break in architecture, drafting, BIM, or MEP design (skills refreshed to meet Revit standards).
  • Working proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (coursework counts); ability to share samples of work.
