About the role

Meta's Regulatory Escalations team handles complex, time-sensitive regulatory escalations across the Family of Apps, combining human judgment with AI-assisted operations to translate regulatory complexity into decisive actions and scalable workflows that protect Meta and its users.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve high-priority regulatory escalations end-to-end, including government inquiries, content regulation mandates, and cross-jurisdictional compliance incidents, ensuring timely resolution within defined SLAs

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, escalations management, trust and safety, legal operations, government affairs, or related operational field involving regulatory risk
  • Experience managing time-sensitive, high-stakes situations with sound judgment
  • Experience synthesizing complex regulatory, legal, or policy information into clear written communications for leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Experience building effective working relationships and collaborating across teams with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Active daily proficiency with AI tools, including prompt engineering, AI-assisted investigation, and workflow automation, with ability to critically evaluate and override AI outputs
