About the role

Lead GenAI initiatives within Envato, owning a defined product area from discovery to launch and iteration, with a focus on integrating generative AI to enhance creative workflows for designers, filmmakers, editors, and creators.

Responsibilities

  • Own a defined product area within Envato's GenAI strategy, from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Understand customer problems, explore opportunities, and decide what to build, test, improve or stop using customer research, product data, experimentation and hands-on GenAI knowledge.
  • Experiment with emerging models, prototype ideas, and develop practical understanding of model capabilities and limitations.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering to translate ideas into high-quality experiences while balancing creative quality, customer experience, model performance, reliability, scale and cost.
  • Define success metrics, monitor how customers use what was built, and iterate based on evidence.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Product Manager who has owned complex customer-facing product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration, ideally in SaaS, technology or AI.
  • Strong practical fluency in generative AI and generative media; comfortable working with models, APIs and emerging capabilities, and prototyping ideas using AI.
  • Understanding of how AI outputs translate to real value in professional creative work; experience with creative products or tools is valuable.
