About the role

Senior role responsible for delivery of leased and partnered data center capacity, coordinating across landlords, developers, and internal teams to ensure fast delivery, safety, quality, and smooth transition to operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project sites 60% of the time or more, shaping culture and approach at sites
  • Develop and enhance cross-functional skillsets of partners, general contractors, and trades for data center delivery
  • Confirm deal readiness and validate transaction viability from LOI through lease execution
  • Coordinate with landlords and developers post-deal as Anthropic's primary contact, tracking construction progress and facilitating information exchange
  • Represent Anthropic in technical and operational decisions required by partners during development
  • Drive seamless handoffs to operational state with focus on networking and deployment teams for rapid workload turn-ups
  • Prepare and present regular executive reporting on progress versus plan for facility development
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout delivery lifecycle; address blockers impacting timeline, cost, or technical requirements
  • Develop and refine standardized processes and playbooks for facility delivery; drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in high-level site leadership managing data center delivery, construction projects, or infrastructure deployment at scale
  • Strong end-to-end data center development understanding (entitlements, permitting, planning, supply chain, execution, commissioning, handover)
  • Ability to make decisions and guide delivery execution without extensive external consultation
  • Comfort with data center design and construction as a repeatable process; able to optimize delivery with minimal prescribed playbooks and tools
  • Ability to operate independently, on-site leadership, and influence across executives and partners
