About the role

Lead the team responsible for how developers discover, onboard, build, and scale applications on the Claude Platform; set vision and strategy to grow the developer ecosystem, gather feedback to inform product development, and ensure responsible use of APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the strategy for how developers discover and grow their integrations on the Claude Platform
  • Build and execute the strategy for content the team produces to educate developers on building high quality integrations on top of the Claude Platform
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to ensure developer feedback informs the roadmap
  • Prioritize initiatives based on data, feedback, and the needs of both developers and stakeholders
  • Pioneer the definition of what world-class developer relations looks like in a rapidly evolving field
  • Recruit, inspire and scale a high-impact developer relations team with global reach and representation across key markets
  • Foster a collaborative culture aligned with Anthropic's values while driving innovation in developer engagement
  • Create and implement scalable processes that evolve as the team and ecosystem expand
  • Establish clear growth paths and development opportunities for team members
  • Act as an advocate for Claude Platform developer needs, translating feedback into strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with Research to translate AI capabilities into accessible educational resources
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing to amplify developer success stories
  • Ensure best practices for responsible AI use are adopted by developers on the Claude Platform

Qualifications

  • Experience building and leading developer relations, developer experience, or technical product teams with a track record of growing developer ecosystems
  • Technically credible with understanding of AI/ML and API concepts; able to translate complex ideas for diverse audiences
  • Hands-on technical abilities including code demos and quality review of developer content
  • Insights into developer psychology and behavior; ability to design education programs that drive adoption
  • Passion for AI's potential and commitment to responsible AI development and safety
  • Collaborative leader capable of influencing across teams without direct authority
  • Experience scaling teams in high-growth environments
