About the role

Product Manager focused on Enterprise Privacy at Anthropic, collaborating with Privacy Engineering, Infrastructure, Trust and Safety, Legal, Security, GTM, enterprise and platform teams, and cloud partners to evolve and extend enterprise privacy controls across Claude on AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand external customers with strict data handling requirements, from banks and healthcare to government contractors, and internal stakeholders with aligned needs.
  • Partner with Privacy Engineering to ship controls that unblock regulated customers, balance impact against engineering cost, and deliver speed.
  • Co-develop solutions with design-partner customers and their compliance teams to pass real audits.
  • Work with engineers to guide architecture and investment decisions (build vs buy vs cloud-provider reliance), sequencing custody, residency, and transparency across clouds.
  • Define success metrics for privacy controls and for customers' ability to answer questions about their data independently.
  • Define and iterate on a self-serve experience for compliance and security teams to inspect posture, settings, and access history without escalating bets.
  • Gather and assess competing stakeholder needs and communicate prioritization trade-offs to senior leadership, balancing privacy risk, safety requirements, legal exposure, and commercial impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to enforce retention, access, residency, and custody controls so infrastructure meets promises.

Qualifications

  • Experience taking a new product area from ambiguity to durable roadmap and shipping enterprise or regulator-dependent controls.
  • Track record of driving platform capabilities balancing multiple customer segments and internal stakeholders.
  • Judgment to prioritize between customer demand, risk, and engineering cost; ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to internalize how privacy, safety, legal risk, and commercial impact interact and translate into a coherent product vision.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
