About the role

Cybersecurity Sales Specialist responsible for leading Anthropic's security business across specified accounts, driving security-focused opportunities, and collaborating with Account Executives and Applied AI engineers to address security problems using Claude.

Responsibilities

  • Build and close security business from first conversation with a CISO through contract and expansion, in collaboration with the owning Account Executive
  • Create security pipeline with Account Executives in your industry, including outbound, events, and partner activities
  • Lead with the customer's problem: vulnerabilities, application security, security operations, and deploying AI agents securely
  • Partner with Applied AI engineers on discovery, proofs of concept, and architecture
  • Guide customers through security reviews, use-case verification, and procurement
  • Teach Account Executives to spot and qualify security opportunities
  • Provide feedback from security teams to product, safeguards, and marketing teams

Qualifications

  • Experience selling or supporting the sale of cybersecurity products or services to enterprise customers
  • Deep experience in at least one security domain (e.g., application security, vulnerability management, security operations, cloud, data, identity, or endpoint security)
  • Ability to hold credible conversations with a CISO, an application security lead and a security engineer
  • Consultative selling approach with problem-first mindset and honesty about product limitations
  • Commitment to making AI systems safe and beneficial
