About the role
Early career product designer role focused on autonomous and command & control domain experiences. Develops understanding of product goals, user needs, and design systems; collaborates across product, research, and engineering to design, prototype, and implement end-to-end features.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of how Software Product Design shapes experiences in autonomous and command & control domains.
- Define experiences based on product goals, business, customer, and user needs.
- Hone visual and interaction design skills using typography, color, iconography, and layout.
- Develop design communication and presentation skills with manager/lead.
- Present designs and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
- Own a feature or workflow end-to-end: discovery, design, prototyping, and implementation with engineers, with an iterative process deployed to customers.
- Collaborate with product designers, research, product management, and engineers to understand the problem space and define solutions.
Qualifications
- Must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design (HCD, interaction, visual), or a design-related field.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
- Able to start full time in 2027.
