About the role

Production Maintenance Technician at Arsenal 1 focused on maximizing uptime, performance, and safety of all production assets across advanced automation, robotics, conveyance, PLCs, and general mechanical systems. Multi-craft role with hands-on troubleshooting in a high-tech manufacturing environment; roles available on First and Second Shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment Commissioning, Line Setup & Integration: New Line Installation, Commissioning Support, Baseline Establishment
  • Automation, Robotics & Electrical: Troubleshoot, program adjustments, teach pendant operation, calibration, mechanical rebuilds; Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs; Electrical troubleshooting up to 480V 3-phase; Interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, P&IDs, manuals
  • Conveyance & General Mechanical Machinery: Preventive and reactive maintenance on high-speed conveyance, sorting, and automated transfer systems; Repair/replacement of gearboxes, motors, drive assemblies, bearings, belts, pulleys; Pneumatic and hydraulic systems troubleshooting; Basic machining, fabrication, welding
  • Preventative Maintenance & Continuous Improvement: PM schedules using CMMS; root-cause analysis (RCFA); TPM and 5S; LOTO, NFPA 70E, OSHA compliance; cross-functional collaboration on production floor

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5+ years of experience as Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, or Mechatronics Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation, PLCs, and 6-axis robotics
  • Experience repairing complex automated conveyance systems
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC standards, and safe work practices around 480V systems
  • Proficiency with hand/power tools, precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators), and electrical test equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters)
  • Shift flexibility (1st or 2nd) with occasional overtime or weekend support
  • U.S. citizenship required
