About the role

Senior Rust developer to build software ecosystem for next-generation hardware platforms powered by System-on-Chip devices, focusing on real-time systems, data processing, and architectural best practices within Anduril’s Intelligence Systems team.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, maintain, and evolve complex software systems, refactoring existing codebases to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Develop high-performance Rust software for real-time systems, ranging from tactical implementations to simulation environments and decision support tools.
  • Apply software design patterns and architectural best practices to manage technical debt and guide the evolution of production systems over time.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of production-grade Rust experience in a Linux development environment
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
  • Experience with network protocols and deeply familiar with networking fundamentals
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
  • A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
  • Eligible and able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
