About the role

Senior Supplier Quality Engineer role within Anduril's Intelligence Systems team. Focuses on defining, developing, and executing processes to deliver high quality hardware, with deep commodity expertise (castings/weldings; precision machined parts; avionics/electronics) and strong collaboration across design, suppliers, production, and field operations to ensure quality and reliability from concept through production.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with design teams to support design development, provide design for manufacturability feedback for your commodity, and help generate product data (drawing details, BOM information, and part requirements) for supplier quality success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or similar technical field.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in castings and weldings, precision machined parts, or avionics and electronic assemblies within maritime, aerospace, defense, or space applications.
  • Experience scaling supplier capabilities from prototype to high-rate production; experience performing source inspection at aerospace/defense suppliers is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based QMS; AS9100 Lead/Internal Auditor Certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience performing First Article Inspection to AS9102; ensuring suppliers have control plans and inspection processes.
  • Experience driving supplier performance, SOWs, quality clauses, IP, and government regulations (ITAR).
  • Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP (MSA), quality improvement techniques, and GD&T.
  • Strong ownership mindset; ability to drive projects from start to finish.
  • Analytical skills for data mining, data quality, metrics, issue management, and statistical tools (e.g., Matlab, JMP, Minitab).
  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to suppliers, sourcing partners, and manufacturing locations.
