About the role

FDSE role at Palantir working directly with customers to design and implement data-powered solutions, involving end-to-end execution in small teams, often on-site with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
  • Discuss architecture with fellow engineers, wrangle massive-scale data, develop a custom web app, engage with customer executives, and set team strategy.
  • Apply problem-solving, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive real-world impact.

Qualifications

  • Strong engineering background (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics)
  • Experience with logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
  • Ability to collaborate in diverse teams and adapt to changing objectives
  • Ability to learn independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Active US Security Clearance at or above the Secret level
